Pet warming pad

Ok, spoiler alert, I really like this little warming pad.  But, I have to say my kitty friend likes it more than I even could.  I know what it's like having a nice warm bed to sleep on when it's negative temps outside, we keep a heat blanket on our bed starting in the fall. It took him a while to warm up to it, no pun intended, but once he did, that's the one spot in the house you're guaranteed to find him!  It's incredibly easy to set up and use.  You plug all the pieces in and plug it into the wall, select what temp your pet might like to lay on, and go!  My cat has never been happier with a pet bed.  It's coming in incredibly handy this harsh winter season.

Gormet Arbequina extra virgin olive oil

Olive oil is one of my favorite things to cook with.  Like, ever.  I use it in my meatball recipe, my roasted sweet potatoes, and of course, who doesn't like bruschetta? Getting to review and taste this Spanish olive oil was a joy.  It's full of wonderful flavor.  So much so that I only want to continue to use it where I can taste just it's flavor, like in bruschetta.  Nothing wrong with that, right?  Also super handy to be able to order it off Amazon with my two day shipping.  I have nothing but praises to sing about it.  It's another two thumbs up in my book!

Cute clothes pin clip lights

Originally when I got these clothes pin lights to review, I planned on saving them to display my baby daughter's photos for her first birthday.  I still am, but I also noticed these are perfect for displaying Christmas cards along our fireplace mantel! They look so good with the lights on at night. I can even set them to blink!  I've already gotten several compliments from friends seeing them and wanting a similar set up.  I can't wait to see how they're going to look with my baby's first year of pictures!

Bear on the Chair

Anyone who has ever had a toddler, or been around one knows how difficult they can be to manage.  There are days where I, myself leave the grocery store early because my two year old decides to paste himself to the floor in the store and make snow angels because I won't give him fruit snacks off the shelf.  Sigh.  So, when I was sent Bear on the Chair, I saw a light at the end of the tunnel.  Granted, it is recommended for ages three plus, I still implemented it's easy to understand empathy tactics on my son's terrible two year tantrums.  First off, he loves Mr Bear and wants to carry him all over the house!  He also notices right away when Mr Bear is sad, not so much mommy yet.  The other night we didn't want to stop watching his movie and get ready for bed, and Mr Bear was sent in to help us out.  He can in with his sad patch and my son got right up off the couch to cuddle him better, AND brush his teeth with NO tantrum.  Easy, right?  Mr Bear has helped cut down at least a handful of our daily meltdowns.  I love him and couldn't see our lives without him.

Glass meal prep containers

While my purpose for these won't be for meal prepping, they are fantastic for leftovers!  We are a family of four, and I cook large portions (or order :)).  We always have at least something leftover to stick in the fridge.  I got rid of my plastic food storage a few years ago, and switched completely to glass.  I hated heating up anything leftover in plastic.  Yuck.  I have also been packing my husbands lunch in these compartment containers.  It's been really nice to have separate sections for a sandwich and fruit.  Overall, these are a win, they're handy, durable, and you can stick them in the microwave.  Sign me up!

Christmas pjs for the family

Ok, I have something to confess.. I've always secretly wanted to do this but never thought I'd have a husband that was a willing participant.  Matching Christmas pjs for the whole family, including the dog?  Yeah, I'm totally serious.  They're so cute! It just so happens I have enough members of my family now to fill them all out as well!  I was thinking they'd also make a great gift to send to someone to open Christmas Eve for them to wear Christmas morning.  I don't know about you, but I can think of anything much better than my family around the tree wearing matching Christmas pjs and opening gifts, enjoying each others company!
