Roraima reclining camp chair

So, before we moved to Texas, my husband and I sold a ton of our stuff on the premise of repurchasing it once we settled. Some of the first things to go was our camping equipment. Sad, right? All your extracurricular activities get the first chop on the ole chopping block! Well, my husband had his favorite green canvas camping chair that he really didn’t want to get rid of, but it was getting old and beat up so it was an easy sell for me to get him to. Plus we had every intention of replacing it as soon as we were able. Long story short, this Roraima chair is the answer to his prayers!  And what an upgrade! This bad boy reclines!  I know for sure he doesn’t miss anything about his battered green one besides the memories! This new one is super cool, it has a little neck pillow, a foot rest, two drink holders, and yes, I sure did say it reclines. Honestly the only thing missing is built in bug repellent haha. We love this chair, it’s perfect! I also need to mention it’s fairly light weight and easy to fold up which works well for me too. I can sing nothing but praises for this lovely chair!

Pidoli baby shoes

I really don't think it's possible for me to love these baby shoes any more than I already do.  They keep my baby's feet warm, they're soft and fuzzy, they're super cute, and they stay on her little feet!!  These would be a fantastic baby shower gift for an expecting mom.  You don't have to wrestle them on your baby, and don't have to stress about them getting lost when you are out with baby.  I kinda wish they made shoes that would fit me as well, they look so comfy!  Their sizes run from new born all the way to 18 months.  It'll be a sad day in our house when we have to pack them up and store them for a potential next baby.  But while we can, we're thoroughly enjoying these soft little teddy bear baby shoes!

I will say I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for walking.  We have tile flooring and it makes for some pretty slippery surfaces for the fleece booties to try to gain traction on.  Luckily, my little one doesn't seem to be very interested in walking very soon!

Memory foam toddler pillow

I've been casually scouting to get my toddler son a pillow for some time now.  I wanted to get something travel sized preferably, and something I could add a pillow case to easily.  Lucky me to be able to review this pillow!  It's perfect!  It's smaller, 19x11x1 (roughly), and breathable memory foam.  The one negative I'll say to this pillow, is that it's thinner than I would have personally liked.  It suits my almost three year old now, but it's definitely something we'll have to be upgrading in the future for him.  Luckily we can hand it down to sister by that time I'm sure!  Now as for my son, a kid of strict routine.. he loves it and references to it as "blue" (which coincides with the pillowcase cover on it).  Now, on to the product details from the site itself:

Baby sleeping bag review

I was completely thrilled to be able to review this baby sleeping bag!  From the moment my son and daughter were born I dressed them in sleeping sacks!  They're super handy because its easy to change diapers in them and you don't have to stuff wiggly baby legs through leg holes.  Too bad they usually only go up to 6 months in size or my kids would still be rocking them.  This sleep bag was similar.  It lacked the lack of leg holes that my other sacks had, but it's SUPER roomy to make up for that.  I read on their site that the third zipper was for a "split leg design" and my husband and I weren't able to figure out how to utilize that part.  This also mentions it's perfect for all year round wear, I will slightly disagree on that part.  It's pretty lightweight cotton, and I prefer to dress my kids in fleece zip up pajamas during winters here in Missouri.  This honestly would have been a nice little pajama for Texas winters!  Overall, I would give his pj set a solid recommendation.  Cute, comfy, and easy to use!

We have an almost three year old in my house, ad well as a freshly turned one year old.  Yeah, you could say we'd better have childproofed our place!  Luckily, my toddler doesn't really get into much, it's my one year old daughter that's the adventurer.  She loves pulling open the cabinets and drawers in my kitchen as I'm cooking dinner.  Or whenever really!  It's been a godsend getting these cabinet locks!  It's a bit sad to see her poor little crushed face when she realizes she can no longer pull open and throw about my pot holder and lids all willy nilly! Nova Nuts poppy seeds review

I love getting to try out ANY food related products, so yes poppy seeds.  At first, I wasn't sure what I'd do with one pound of unwashed poppy seeds, but I soon found a multitude of recipes in which to use up a good portion right away.  I started out making a nice little poppy seed cake with lemon frosting.  My family loved it!  Especially my toddler son, I think he enjoyed the fact that we were able to have it for breakfast.  I also have made some poppy seed muffins since yesterday, and plan on making a few more batches to freeze for later.  They've been great to send my husband off to school with.  The poppy seeds themselves are fantastic!  Full of not only flavor, but vitamins as well.  I would highly recommend getting a bag for yourself and your home pantry.

Cold Pressed extra virgin olive oil

I promised myself if I was able to work with Gourmet Living again and got to taste test another olive oil, the first thing I'd do is leave a meatball recipe for you guys to try out that I make with it.  Honestly, a good olive oil makes a world of difference.  Let me tell you a little bit about the olive oil first.  Yes, I cracked it right open the moment it arrived!  It's not weird to have multiple olive oils open in one's home that are used for different things, right?  The first recipe I made using the oil was a salad dressing.  Nothing fancy, I wanted to taste the olive oil mainly.  It was just as wonderful as its predecessor.  Smooth, buttery, and with an almost peppery after-taste.  It was delicious!  I of course also got out a hearty bread to try in it as well and it did not disappoint.  Now, on to this meatball recipe!
3lbs ground turkey
1/2lb sweet Italian sausage
3 cups of Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1 cup parmesan cheese
2/3 cup of whole milk
2 eggs
3 tb olive oil
1/2 cup fresh parsley
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
mix it all together, shape into meatballs, brush the tops of the meatballs with olive oil, and bake at 400 for 40 minutes.  They are amazing!
